ABI BROWNING
Abi Browning is a singer and songwriter, originally from Devon (in the South West of England), but now based in London where she has been studying music at the Brit School. She has been working on her music since the age of 14, in a variety of styles including RnB, Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, Punk, Ska, Acoustic and Indie. Now, at 18 years old, she has begun to build up an impressive catalogue of songs and recordings. Many of these have been collaborations with producer John Saxon of State of Emergency Limited. Discovered whilst attending a Hip Hop training programme run by State of Emergency in Somerset, called ‘Creating The Vibe’, Abi amazed everyone with her mature RnB style and all round musical talent. Over the coming year she will be working with State of Emergency to complete an album, as well as building up her experience of performing and writing with a range of other artists and groups. She is also beginning to get work as a model and actress. She names her main influences as: Stevie Wonder, Sting, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Destiny’s Child, No Doubt and Pink, but adds that ‘the list could go on forever’!
