This was an acclaimed major landmark event for black choreographers and dance artists across the UK. It featured thirteen professional performances of black choreographic work, 1:1 artists’ career development surgeries, arts management workshops and platforms for emerging choreographers. It also offered critical debate and discussion seminars looking at black dance in mainstream training establishments. Representatives from all of the major dance schools in the UK took part.
