The Mission Programme delivers its dance activities through an initiative called The Mission, a programme that seeks to highlight, support, educate and develop black choreographers creating work in a black British style fusion.
The Mission is constantly pushing new developments in the creation and presentation of this work, persuading more venues to integrate black dance forms into their mainstream programme and to offer their communities an opportunity to creatively participate in workshops, thus building audiences and developing understanding of these dance forms.
